Aunties Bay
Aunties Bay is a lovely open beach area just North of Glenmore swimming beach.
Munster
Around Port Edward, Leisure Bay and Glenmore on the KZN South Coast you can swim at Kidds Beach and T.O. Strand, walk the Umtamvuna Nature Reserve trails, see the red sand hills of the Red Desert Nature Reserve west of Port Edward, fish off Splash Rock or Ladder Rock, and spend a day at the Wild Coast Sun water park.
Anglers know Splash Rock, just south of Port Edward Main Beach, for shad, kob and garrick. Experienced anglers also fish off Ladder Rock (wear gumboots, because the rocks are slippery).

Humpback whales pass close inshore in the winter months, May to August, and the sardine run usually arrives in the same window. A humpback mother and her calf spent some time about 250 m out to sea, just off Leisure Bay. Dolphins feed on the sardine shoals as they move up the coast.
